The 1st year Academic Calendar is divided into two Semesters for Honours students. Accordingly, two Semester Examinations are held sometime in December and in May on separate syllabi, announced before-hand. Marks scored in the two Semester Examinations and regularity of class attendance are taken into consideration for promotion to next higher class. However, the General Course students have to qualify in the Annual Examinations and ensure attendance of classes as per Calcutta University Rules. Students failing to meet the stipulations of marks for passing the Test Examinations and of the required percentage of class-attendance will not be sent up to sit for the University Examinations.
Every student is required to procure Admit Card from the college office and carry the same for verification during all the days of any Internal Examination of the college. |
